Bakkavor's Group Services functions are based in Spalding, Lincolnshire with a small number of people working at the Group's Head Office in London. There are around 350 working across functions such as IS, Procurement, Finance, HR, Technical, Marketing and Administration.

A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join the dedicated Group Services IS Team, to implement, support and enhance.

Working as part of the Business Systems team, this role will focus on planning applications and associated Supply Chain systems.
The role will mainly concentrate in the functional areas of Supply Chain and require capabilities to manage the full project lifecycle (i.e. analyse business requirements, provide solution definition, implementing and enhancing business systems) whilst working to best business practice and within Group standards and policies.

The role will also include elements of the strategic direction planning for the development of applications and business processes, as well as providing application support and advice for the end user population.


4/5 Years' Experience of a FMCG / Manufacturing and Supply Chain Environment.
4/5 Years' Experience in one or more of ERP, HR, Manufacturing, Planning & Supply Chain Applications.
Experience in leading Business Analysis activity working with Senior Stakeholders
Strong analytical capabilities to problem solve and manage incidents.
Demonstrate team leadership, staff development & performance evaluations for multiple direct reports.
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities through effective organisation and communication.
Ability to visit other Bakkavor sites across the UK and Continental Europe.

Proactively analyse, challenge and improve business processes to meet the business requirements and deliver value. Raise recommendations in-line with strategic thinking to gain the most value from applications.
Understand the holistic processes that surround our application portfolio. Has vision and capability to plan and action application lifecycle activities and strategic direction. Is aware of innovation, new initiatives, trends and best practice and recommends business improvement activities.
Demonstrate all aspects of the project methodology. Responsible for allocating work requests, capacity planning and on-going project delivery.
Provide expertise and co-ordinate the planning and implementation of new releases of software. In addition ensuring that application enhancements are developed in accordance with the business requirements and undergo the appropriate user testing to ensure business risk is removed and minimal disruption when deployed.
Be the recognised expert across multiple applications to be able to guide others to fix the most complex of support issues for trends and recommend actions to reduce / eliminate support calls. Monitor and maintain service levels in accordance with published targets.
Responsible for day-to-day resource management, ensuring your team are motivated, effectively managed and have the appropriate skills and attributes to deliver requirements for our business.
Promote and ensure that the current working practices are adhered to by all members of the team whilst challenging and reviewing the standards to achieve continual improvement.
