Assistant Chef
Stoke-on-Trent
£9.20 per hour
Temporary 12 months Contract
Part Time, 12 hours – weekend working 8.30am – 2.30pm
Our client is looking for someone to join their catering team at their over 55s scheme.
Assisting their Head Chef, you’ll be providing a range of substantial and healthy balanced meals for residents with various cultural, ethnic and dietary requirements. You’ll be involved in food preparation, serving meals, snacks and beverages, as well as maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene at the café and restaurant.
If you have an NVQ 2 or 3 in food preparation, cooking and kitchen supervision, or equivalent experience and are team player with empathy for older people and interested in an opportunity with purpose, they’d love to hear from you.
