I am currently looking for an experienced L&D Instructional Design Lead for a permanent position in Manchester City Centre working on a part time basis. This role is working 24 hours per week and is offering a full time equivalent salary of up to GBP40,000 per annum.

* To consult with client's to guide them on the best instructional approach for any content to be created

* Consider the range of instructional media available: instructor led, e-learning, print, webinar, and recommends the most suitable for each instructional need

*Create e-learning scripts containing instructional text, visualisations for e-learning interactions, formative assessment questions

*Create facilitator guides, hand-outs, PowerPoint presentations for use within the instructor led courses

*Apply industry standard instructional design principles, practice and standards, and applies those to projects wherever possible

*Own instructional design projects and is responsible for managing them in line with agreed parameters

*Review developed resources, creates change summary documents and manages the review process with the SMEs, Consultants and developers to deliver error-free products

*To ensure that each project is properly documented, and that files are correctly managed and archived

*Develop and maintain productive and influential working relationships with key stakeholders and senior personnel within the client's business

Required/Desirable Skill set, Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

*Between 4 to 6 years of working experience in Instructional Design - Scripting and Storyboarding for eLearning, blended learning, webinars and traditional classroom learning

*Knowledge of learning theories and strategies such as Blooms Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick's levels of learning, and Robert Gagne's learning events

*Exceptional written English including grammar and spelling and good verbal communication skills

*Meticulous attention to detail, highly organised, and has a creative flair

*Familiar with recognised web usability and accessibility standards

*Familiar with recognised e-learning technical standards, e.g. SCORM, ensure they are adhered to where appropriate

*Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to take appropriate initiative, manage multiple tasks, establish work priorities, and balance competing priorities and deadlines
