Head of Assets & Compliance
Here at Johnnie Johnson Housing, an exciting and great opportunity has arisen for a Head of Assets & Compliance to join the team.
Within the role, you will be challenged to deliver effective strategic Asset Management; leading smarter services that can influence the shape and use of assets to meet the needs of our customers, now and in the future.
The Head of Assets & Compliance will take overall accountability by leading, co-ordinating and continually improving the work of the Asset and Compliance team; providing professional, technical and procedural advice and leading the delivery of a customer focused service through detailed planning, cyclical and ad-hoc programmes. Empowering and coaching the team to procure and manage contractors, you will ensure accurate and up to date stock condition information is maintained and take lead responsibility and professional guidance on all asset and investment decisions.
What we’re looking for…
We’re looking for an individual who holds a Degree in Building Surveying or a Business / Finance discipline and who has sound technical expertise with excellent contract management experience, robust compliance legislation knowledge and can demonstrate successful service delivery. With a natural ability to lead a team, you will be an excellent communicator, be able to turn strategic aims into operational plans, have the ability to create reports that allow insightful decision making which give advice and recommendations on technical information and data.
We also ask that you have strong budget and financial management experience, can effectively lead experts and managers who are responsible for all the compliance disciplines ensuring the organisation meets its statutory obligations.
