Claims Handler

We are seeking an experienced claims handler to join our expanding team in Gatwick. We operate a large fleet of our vehicles and require a skilled person to manage our claims process between our drivers/third parties and our insurers.

Working alongside the fleet manager, you will be involved in the day to day management of claims to ensure they are handled efficiently and that all procedures are followed for speedy claims response.

As well as communicating with our drivers and senior management, you will also liaise with external experts such as our insurance advisors and insurers. You may become involved in reviewing and maintaining management reports and claims management.

Responsibilities

Typical activities may include:

?? ensuring smooth communication to our staff on all claim's procedures

?? providing fast and smooth 1st claim notification

?? processing new insurance claims notifications

?? collecting accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim

?? working with our insurers to analyse any claim trends

?? managing small repairs outside of our insurers

?? working with our repair centre

?? building relationships with insurers, broker and legal and claims professionals

?? adhering to legal requirements, industry regulations and customer quality standards set by the company.

Working hours

The working week is usually 40 hours. Office hours may be Monday to Friday

What to expect

?? Although office-based, you may need to travel to visit insurers, brokers and solicitors.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years claims management experience.

CII qualified
