Portfolio HR have been enlisted to support our international professional services client in their search for a Benefits Specialist to join their Manchester team on a permanent basis. The Benefits Specialist will report into the EMEA Benefits Delivery Manager and will join a newly established Benefits team. The Benefits Specialist will provide an efficient and timely benefits service to employees as well as external stakeholders as well as having responsibility for the following duties:

  • Being the first point of call for any complex benefits/pensions queries
  • Managing all UK flexible benefits arrangements
  • Supporting with the flexible annual enrolment process
  • Assist with the design, review and maintenance of benefits and wellbeing communication materials such as brochures, policies, procedures, intranet content, presentations, posters, emails.
  • Management of the benefits queries portal ensuring all queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently and within the required SLAs
  • Assist with the delivery of training and developing guidelines as necessary to HR colleagues to ensure they are well equipped to manage employees benefits related queries and administer benefits correctly
  • Responsible for managing and troubleshooting all outsourced third party activity
  • Managing the EMEA benefits renewal cycle
  • Production and delivery of annual P11D files for Payroll to upload
  • Regularly update the International Benefits database (MercerGold)
  • Assist with Monthly data uploads and troubleshooting system errors (EMEA wide Total Reward portal)
  • Benefit and wellbeing metrics reporting

In order to be considered for this opportunity it is essential that you have a strong benefits background as well as the following criteria:

  • Highly analytical individual able to interpret vast amount of data
  • A strong user of Microsoft Office Packages with particular reference to Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills, working effectively to deadlines and project plans
  • A confident communicator able to build effective working relationships with third party outsourced service providers/vendors
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
