About The Role
For you, that will mean providing a service to residents prior and during mealtimes and to maintain the dining room to the highest of standards
To ensure that mealtimes run smoothly and on time.
To serve meals and beverages as required. To lay dining rooms to silver service standard
Take menu choices from residents ensuring all are afforded choice
To ensure all residents requiring specialist diets have correct diets.
To ensure menus are kept up to date
Support residents who take meals and drinks in their bedrooms
You will act as an integral part of the care team within the service, and always have resident wellbeing in mind above anything else.
About You
As someone with a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and experience in a customer facing environment, you understand the importance of high standards. Confident, enthusiastic and with great people skills, you should be able to communicate effectively and empathetically with a range of people, including those with communication difficulties
