The job

Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Affairs, this role will be responsible for providing international regulatory support to the food and drink industry and leading a team of international Regulatory Affairs Advisors.

A further and exciting part of the role will be working in collaboration with the commercial team to lead the strategy to develop and grow the regulatory affairs business across all areas of the department.

You will also deliver internal and external contract services on time and within budget, lead and manage staff to effectively deliver services, maintain and extend a high level of awareness of current food legislation, related issues and likely developments plus answer regulatory related questions from members, other clients and colleagues.

Your experience

You will be educated to a degree level or equivalent in a relevant science/technology discipline and possess a solid knowledge of food law acquired in a commercial, policy or enforcement setting. You will possess a good commercial awareness, have the ability to effectively lead a team and fluency in an additional language is essential. A full UK valid driving licence is also required.

The International Regulatory Affairs Manager job is based in the South East / Home Counties region and is paying GBP40,000 - GBP45,000 according to individual skills and previous experience.
