Full Time: Mon - Thurs 8.30am - 4.30pm, Fri 8.30am - 3.30pm
We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Technician to provide planned and emergency maintenance for all mechanical building services within a University Campus.
This includes heating, ventilation and all equipment associated with utility services.
Duties could include:
Replace heating systems and associated equipment within all building on the campus
Repairing compressed air systems
Changing drive belts and bearings on AH Units and other equipment
Analysing, fault finding and making decisions about work to be undertaken, including costs and prioritising
Investigating and pre-empting problems which may arise
Provide a planned maintenance service and promote proactive culture
The successful candidate would require:
A recognised apprenticeship or training programme in heating, ventilation and mechanical services
Proven practical work experience within a similar setting
A proactive approach to problem solving and diagnosing issues.
