Prestige Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting for a warehouse Operative to work in Pocklington, on a TEMP/PERM basis.
Pay Rate/Salary: GBP9.50 P/H
Hours of Work: 18:00 - 02:30 Monday to Thursday, 15:00-23:30 Friday.
Predicted length of term: TEMP/PERM 12 WEEKS PROBATION
SHORT INTRODUCTION TO THE COMPANY
Our client are a leading manufacturer of producing tyres who have being established for almost 45 years. They have specialised in wholesale of tyres. They are based in Pocklington near York. They have grown and maintained their position as one of the UK's leading tyre wholesalers. Last year they supplied 2.5 million tyres to the trade. They are currently recruiting for warehouse Operatives to join their team. Please not this job role is a physically demanding role.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
You will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
* Ensuring loading and unloading of distribution and delivery vans.
* Moving and storing stock in and out of allocated locations in the warehouse.
Successful candidates must have the following skills and experience:
* Physically fit
* Excellent communication skills
* Health and safety awareness
* Be able to work in a cold/damp environment.
Please note transport necessary due to location.
