Building Manager Residential Development
We are currently seeking an experienced Building Manager to be based within a residential scheme in Reading.
Working hours are Monday to Friday - 0800 to 1700.
Salary from GBP25,000 to GBP30,000 - DOE
Main duties and responsibilities are below:
To perform your duties and provide building management as set out in this document and to have an in-depth working knowledge of the Property.
2. Customer Service
To provide high levels of customer service at the Property and to seek / achieve continuous improvement, and to act in a courteous and helpful manner to all occupiers in addition to members of the public, other staff, guests, and to contractors employed on the development.
3. Record Keeping
To enter all relevant comments / details in the development log and to deal with, record and report to the Line Manager any incidents occurring, carry out digital reporting as instructed by the Agent and in general to deliver high quality record keeping.
To inspect in line with the required reporting defined below all internal and external common areas of the development (including the car park, gardens and boundaries) and report any defects, repairs, security, lessee breaches or health and safety concerns in the format required by the Agent.
5. Security & Contractor Management
To ensure the secure protection of the building, its occupants and contents and to control the access of contractors logging their actively onsite.
To respond and assist in dealing with emergencies.
7. Health & Safety
To be aware of and observe the Fire, Health and Safety risk assessment.
8. Proactive and Reactive Maintenance
To undertake minor maintenance and other reciprocal maintenance tasks as detailed within this job description or as directed by Employer, Agent or Line Manager.
