A specialist materials distributor based in Southampton are currently recruiting into their dedicated Quality and Compliance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality and Environmental Assistant to join a growing business supplying into highly technical and regulated industry sectors. This is a full time and permanent position that requires demonstrated quality and compliance experience to be considered.
Responsible for day to day quality management operations, including management of in-house systems, associated documentation and operational controls, this is a busy and varied role that requires excellent attention to detail as well as a very positive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement. Knowledge and experience of Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA), scheduling and management of internal audits and adherence to quality assurance standards will also be key considerations.
Other than direct experience within a comparable Quality and Compliance role, a background of working within the Aerospace sector would be highly desirable, including familiarity with AS9001 standards.
