Second Chef Farnham
Full-Time Post: 36.25 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our friendly Catering Team and work alongside our Head Chef in Farnham. The Café is vibrant & busy throughout the academic year. Your job is to undertake general catering duties and to contribute to the University’s catering service to students and staff.
Your duties will include all aspects of Kitchen, Buffet and some office work associated with working in a busy Catering Department and will include, serving customers at the hot food counter and lay-up and delivering of hospitality for internal functions and events.
You will have excellent customer service skills and knowledge of cashiering, together with a good understanding of current hygiene legislation. You will have attained the minimum of City and Guilds 706/1 & 706/2 or equivalent and CIEH Level 2 Food Hygiene to demonstrate your knowledge and experience of health and safety with regards to food preparation and hygiene within the workplace.
