Salary: £18,217 - £20,199 + excellent benefits

Contract Type: Permanent, full time, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

We are recruiting for a Learning Support Technician in Electrical Installation to join our team in Construction & Building Services. Bringing your skills and experience from the Construction Industry, you will support learners and staff by preparing resources and teaching materials, maintaining equipment, and keeping the workshops compliant with Health & Safety policies. This is a great opportunity, as you will also assist with instruction and assessment of students, whilst demonstrating your knowledge of equipment, resources and best practice.

The successful candidate will have a level 2 qualification in a relevant subject, and previous experience of electrical installation as well as construction and building sites. You will be enthusiastic, patient, and willing to support learners whilst being proactive in ensuring equipment and materials are available to students and staff. Ideally, you would hold assessor’s qualifications, a level 3 in Electrical Installation, and have previous experience of supporting learners in a workshop environment.
