Happy to Talk Flexible Working
Join The Hub at this exciting time in our history. Having been open for just 9 months, we’ve big plans to grow our business into the future and this role plays a key part in that.
The Hub is a new place for people to come together to have fun, work and try new things. We’re a beacon for the local community, drawing new and long-standing residents together. Our beautiful spaces and rooms are available for hire. Our flexible spaces can accommodate two to 200 people and are suitable for a range of activities. The building is complemented by The Hub Café who provide the catering for events taking place in The Hub.
The Hub is based within a distinctive, contemporary development of 700 high quality homes, community facilities and open spaces. Offering the perfect blend of city and country living, Mulberry Park is within easy reach of both Bath's dynamic city centre and the area's stunning natural surroundings. This vibrant community will be enhanced by Bath's first new park for 100 years, a new primary school and a children's nursery.
The Hub is part of Curo and we are about providing people with homes and much more. We are one of the largest landlords in the South West and ranked in the top 50 of The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Not-for-Profit Organisations to work for in the whole of the UK. We care about our colleagues and this is evident in their sense of pride and the tireless work they do to support our customers.
What you'll be doing
You will own the entire sales cycle from the marketing of The Hub facilities and researching the local market through to converting leads into confirmed bookings. You’ll be attending networking events and following up leads by telephone, building relationships with customers with a view to generating repeat bookings.
Reporting into the Centre Manager, you’ll develop the small existing customer base, focus on obtaining and driving new business for The Hub and identify funding opportunities to generate income.
More about you
You’ll be a tenacious, self-starter to drive the sales strategy for The Hub. Ideally you will have recent experience of delivering exceptional customer service in a similar, sales environment.
As a member of the Curo team you will need to demonstrate a commitment to delivering first class customer service to support our objective of being a renowned customer service organisation. Due to the nature of the role, there will be the need to attend networking events in the evenings and occasionally at weekends so an element of flexibility is required. At the same time you will demonstrate resilience and the desire to work in an interesting environment where no day is ever the same!
When and where you'll be doing it
You will be able to work flexibly, Monday to Friday but with the possibility of some evening/weekend working, based on our customers’ needs.
You’ll be based in The Hub, Mulberry Park, Bath

We think you’ll have a job that makes you feel good about what you’re doing – you will make a difference to our customers’ lives every day.
