Senior Legal Officer

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Legal Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. This role presents a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Legal Officer to join a team developing their skills in this busy role.  We are looking for an Experienced Adult Social Care Lawyer. 

The Role: This will be a varied Senior Legal Officer role, responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

• To carry out day to day mentoring and guidance for qualified lawyers
• To be responsible and accountable for a personal caseload of high profile/and or complex legal matters
• Undertake management development and motivation of members of the team as required.
• To undertake legal research, drafting of legal documentation, negotiations, training and presentations
• To build positive working relationships within the Legal Services.
• To proactively develop and maintain IT skills needed to work effectively and efficiently. 

Candidate Specification: For this position we ae seeking applications from candidates with;

• Degree Level of equivalent qualification and relevant professional qualification
• Solicitor or Barrister or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives
• Evidence of continuing professional development
• Ability to travel on a regular or occasional basis
• DBS
• High level negotiating, influencing and mediation skills
