The job

This is an exciting time to join the team as the business is experiencing considerable success and growth and have been heavily investing in the staff, equipment and infrastructure of their sites.

The purpose of the Food Law Advisor is to help clients and internal teams consistently and efficiently meet complex, demanding and evolving legal requirements in Regulatory Affairs, with respect to this specific role, a strong emphasis on alcoholic beverages.

The job holder is responsible for responding to client enquiries and the initiation and management of high value, food law related consultancy projects. You will further manage the relationships with clients and external partners, leading to the initiation of new business opportunities, proposing new regulatory services plus suggesting improvements to current services and policies.

Your experience

To be considered for the Food Law Advisor role, you will be educated to a degree level plus possess a scientific background/work experience in the brewing and/or alcoholic drinks industry. You will also possess a knowledge of food law, ideally acquired in a commercial, enforcement or policy setting. You will be a confident communicator, have strong project management and presentation skills plus a full UK valid driving licence is also required due to site location.

More details

The Food Law Advisor job is based in the South East / Home Counties region and is paying GBP35,000 - GBP38,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus excellent benefits including 25 days holiday, holiday buying/selling scheme, pension scheme, private medical insurance, subsidised restaurant and ongoing company supported training.

The working hours are Monday to Friday.
