TITLE: Welsh Speaking Primary School Teacher
New Directions Education are currently recruiting for a Welsh-speaking Primary Teacher to work in a long-term role.
We are looking for someone who can confidently teach Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, and also have the resources to plan lessons for all age ranges. Newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply or this role

Working within a Welsh medium school is not only rewarding but essential in keeping the Welsh language prominent within our society. As a Primary Teacher you will be expected to:

Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism

Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment

Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all pupil/student ability ranges

Motivate pupils/students with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation

Maintain discipline

Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils'/students’ development

Co-ordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this

Stay up-to-date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum

Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools
