Cook - Care Home - GBP10p/hr - Dawlish Area
The role:
A care home in the Dawlish area is looking for an experience cook to run the kitchen on a daily basis. The successful candidate will work daytime hours - 5/7 days - 30 hours a week with every night off. Cooking for between 45-50 residents plus staff you should have a general knowledge of various diets would be an advantage.
Your main responsibilities as Cook will include:
* Running the kitchen
* Producing dishes to meet the required standard
* Ensuring food safety and health and hygiene
What you need to be a successful Cook:
* Experience as a chef or cook.
* Experience cooking with fresh produce
* Happy to undertake a DBS
The Benefit for a Cook:
* Hourly rate of GBP10
* Every hour paid plus overtime
* Every night off.
