Junior Security Engineer - OTE GBP33000
My client is looking for a Security Engineer with a couple of years experience in the industry, who would come in as an Junior Engineer, carrying out 'day works', including minor installations and to correct faults, who has a desire to get the experience and training to become a Senior Engineer.
The successful Candidate will have the opportunity of progressing their career in an expanding and technical demanding Company, with in house certification training by engineers who far exceed NSI Gold standards.
My client is a long established (1984), family run, NSI Gold Standard Security Systems company, with plenty of work, If you have the experience, the desire and you are an excellent communicator, then send your CV over to me as soon as possible!
You would expect to earn around GBP33000 per year, with guaranteed minimum 1 hour door to door travel time every day (paid at time and third), enhanced holiday pay, so that when you are on leave you will still get paid the average overtime you would normally work, exceptional overtime rates, on call allowances, with the on call rota planned a year ahead enabling you to book your holidays well in advance!
Job Requirements
Minor Works
You will be required to carry out minor installation work and correct faults, as required, at our Customers' premises, You will be required to complete all appropriate documentation, in accordance with the requirements of the appropriate British Standard, Approval Bodies and the company's own Fire & Security documentation.
The types of equipment we expect the Candidate to be experienced or familiar with are:
Intruder: Eaton range, Pyronix and Honeywell.
Access Control: ACT, Paxton
Door Entry: BPT, Fermax
CCTV: HikVision, Pelco, DM, Adpro, Optex
You will need to live within 25 - 30 miles of Stevenage, for example, one of these locations; Bedford, west of Bishop's Stortford, Bletchley, Borehamwood, Cheshunt, Dunstable, Hatfield, Hemel Hempstead, Hertford, Hoddesdon, Luton, Potters Bar, Royston, Saffron Warden, Stanstead Abbots, Waltham Abbey, Waltham Cross
Areas we cover: Herts, Beds, Cambs, Bucks, Northants, Oxen, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, London.
Hours of Work
40 hours per week starting at 08:30 with a 1/2 hour for lunch
Security Screening
We carry out security screening under BS: 7858 so go back five years of employment history or back to the age of 16 if that is more recent. We also request an Enhanced Disclosure from the DBS (formerly CRB - Criminal Records Bureau), a Hertfordshire Police Check and a consumer information search with a credit reference agency.
You will get Company PPE, Uniform, Equipment, Mobile Phone, Laptop and an Airconditioned Vehicle
