JOB: Composite Laminator
Location: Devon
Type: Permanent or Contract
Salary: GBP Negotiable
Our client is a global leader in the production of components from composite materials and as a result of continued strength in this sector requires a Composite Laminator to join the team.
Composite Laminator General tasks:
* The laminator would need to be experienced in Wet lamination and preferably LRTM and Infusion processes and all types of tooling concepts from open moulding, matched tools and the use of a variety of materials to include glass and carbon.
* This key role would require a good eye for detail with a conscientious approach to new projects and must be able to work from drawings or lay up manuals.
* Actively work with employees, line managers and production engineers to improve existing processes and operations through better working practices and new technology.
* Develop product information (Shop pack, layup books drawing etc) to ensure that future manufacturing have all the information required at hand in a clear and standardised manner to ensure manufacturing mistakes are minimised.
* Assist in developing other personal by communicating knowledge of laminating processes in a structured and concise manner.
* Able to develop 'Best Practice Methodologies' throughout Advanced Composites.
* Able to document all projects to demonstrate 'before and after' and provide regular detailed updates to the Lead Composite Engineer of current and future projects.

* A working Knowledge of industry requirements for Aerospace and Defence would be an advantage.
* Ensure a safe working environment at all times
* Ability to work as part of a team and alone on jobs as required.
