Job Purpose
To coordinate all aspects of the technical research work withn a Food Laboratory
Main Duties (including % of time spent)
* To coordinate and carry out practical work to agreed protocols and procedures within agreed time frames
* Ensure laboratory records are accurately maintained including where required equipment logs, safety records and experimental result including reports
* Liaise with clients/section managers for research contracts and projects; assist with the writing of proposals and reports
Qualifications
* A' level/Graduate in biological sciences or equivalent, or at least two years relevant experience
* Work accurately within specified time frames
* Computer literate, particularly Excel
* Enthusiastic, proactive team player
