Salary: Depending on the level of PQE

We're currently looking for an experience Solicitor to join our client's Clinical Negligence team based in Southampton.

You will be a self-sufficient fee earner who meets fee income targets and works profitably, and who assists with:-

Coaching and mentoring of junior staff
Business development and marketing
Administration functions within the team/department
Managing key developer relationships and encouraging new relationshipsResponsibilities:

Fulfil personal case load
Assist with marketing and business development for the department and firm
Report to the Partner in charge of the team
Assist Team fee earners to fulfil their case loads
Assist with the coaching and mentoring of junior fee earners to improve their knowledge and capabilityCandidate Requirements:

Qualified Solicitor
Pro-activity
An ability to understand the client's business and what motivates them as well as their objectives
Enthusiasm
An ability to move quickly from one matter to another and to have a grasp of all ongoing matters/issues for that client
An ability to anticipate the client's needs and requirements
An ability to react quickly to the client's requirements
Good technical and organisational skills
Creativity and an ability to find solutions to problems in order to facilitate progress on/completion of transactions
A good personal manner and an ability to relate to and communicate with clients and their staff at all levels
An ability to work well with other professionals retained by the clients and as part of the team with them and the client where necessaryRef: 9139
