UK Sales Manager - Landscaping & Forestry Products (B2B)
Location: Home/Field Based
Although home based, candidates must be able to commute to our client’s head office in Hull.
Package: £30k Salary + incentivised sales bonus structure, Company Car, Mobile Phone, Laptop and out of pocket expenses
Working hours: Full Time 8.30am - 5.00pm (plus travelling time)

Founded in 1961, our client is a widely respected name amongst professional landscapers. They supply an environmentally friendly range of landscaping and forestry products throughout 32 countries. They are currently looking to recruit a UK Sales Manager to join their team.

Our client is looking for a sales professional who can clearly demonstrate a successful career in sales of a semi-technical product range to trade users and pulling business through a chain of wholesalers. The candidate will have had considerable experience in a field sales roll and still enjoy the challenge of selling in today’s changing world. Some experience of covering a large geographical territory is required so territory planning, and organisational skills are pre-requisite.
You will be responsible for selling our client’s range of products to both new and existing clients throughout the UK. Using your excellent interpersonal skills, you will be selling to distributors, wholesalers and directly to end users ranging from small one-man companies to large corporate businesses. Development into a senior management role will be expected as a natural progression as will the remuneration package.
The UK Sales Manager duties will include:
- Identifying additional opportunities throughout the customer’s business
- Promoting new product lines to key decision makers
- Managing and monitoring continuous business growth
- Monitoring competitor activities and market trends
To be considered for this position, the UK Sales Manager must have:
- Substantial and proven B2B field sales experience
- An understanding of engineering production processes would be an advantage
- Excellent IT and administrative skills
- A full driving license
Furthermore, as a field-based executive, you will have excellent time management skills and be able to maintain a professional demeanour at all times.
Experience selling to distributors, wholesales or end users in the landscaping and forestry markets would also be a plus.
