Cabling Technician 
Field Based (covering sites, in and around London [Poplar, Canary Wharf, Slough, Hemel Hempstead, Hayes] plus other sites in the UK and overseas when required)

If you have a valid CSCS pass and a manual handling training certificate, this is a brilliant opportunity to take on an exciting, new challenge as a Cabling Technician.

They are now looking for a number of Cabling Technicians to join them and support the delivery of projects in London as well as other parts of the UK and overseas as required.

The Role 

As a Cabling Technician, you will help to install Cat6, Cat6a and fibre optic cabling at various sites. 

Supporting a range of projects, you will: 

- Primarily work in data centres 
- Work in-line with health and safety requirements 
- Help to install and test cabling 
- Read and understand construction drawings 
- Terminate and test Fibre and Copper cables 

About You 

To be considered as a Cabling Technician, you’ll need: 

- A valid and in-date CSCS pass or equivalent 
- A valid and in-date manual handling certificate 
- Strong problem-solving abilities 
- A full driving licence and access to your own transport 

Working at Heights, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) or Hoist Operator training would be beneficial to your application. 

Other organisations may call this role Project Technician, Installation Technician, Cabling Engineer, Cabling and Installation Technician, Junior Cabling Engineer or Operative.
