The Role

As the Quality Systems Manager, you will oversee the site’s Quality Management System documentation and audits.

Reporting to the Site Quality Manager, you will ensure compliance with site, customer and third party assurance scheme requirements for Food Safety and Quality.

Your role will also involve:

- Continuously improving compliance systems
- Strengthening quality awareness within the site
- Managing and facilitating external auditors
- Preparing, maintaining and updating the internal audit plan
- Supporting the Quality Assurance Team in responding to customer queries

About You

To be considered as a Quality Systems Manager, you will need:

- Experience of working within an FMCG environment (ideally within food)
- Previous experience of managing quality systems and food assurance standards and knowledge of retailer food safety, especially M&S and other retailers
- Experience of third party audits and knowledge of BRC version 8
- A Level 3 qualification in HACCP, food safety and internal audit training
- A degree level qualification or equivalent (ideally within food sciences)

This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday.
