Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Site Based
Location: Warrington
Hours: Shift: 6-2/2-10
As a Multi Skilled Engineer you will be required to work closely with the production team maintaining and servicing all processing machinery across two sites to ensure that machinery downtime is kept to a minimum and that all preventative maintenance is conducted in advance to avoid production disruption. You will need to have worked in a similar manufacturing environment and be able to carry out preventative maintenance, fault finding and deal with machine down-time efficiently.
All candidates must be currently eligible to both live and work in the United Kingdom.
Role:
As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you'll action any repairs and ensure that all measures taken are recorded so recurrent faults can be recognised
You will be involved in electrical and mechanical proactive and reactive maintenance
You will carry out responsibilities in accordance with the organisation's policies and procedures
You will provide assistance in troubleshooting and identification of equipment problems.
You will maintain a relationship with clients to foster a good team environment when working on the equipment.
You will be able to write SOP's and other technical documents in support of the engineering department as well as the end users.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices.
Conforming to company health and safety procedures and policies. Key attributes and skills:
Must be fluent in English (verbal and written)
Time served engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
ONC/HNC in engineering or equivalent.
Good experience and able to demonstrate a methodical approach to fault finding, including PLC's
Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
Excellent I.T Skills

Shift Pattern: 6-2/2-10 + shift allowance
