Club Med is looking for a new full-time permanent Account Manager.  Part of the Meetings and Events team, you will be responsible for the development of strategies to increase booking finalization, rebooking and upselling village products as well as end-to-end Event Production for all M&E bookings for the UK, Ireland and Nordics. You will also be expected to attend locations worldwide to ensure products and services are being delivered as expected to the client.

Your goal is to provide exceptional event delivery in worldwide villages, ensure event rebooking and liaise with international villages and Head Office departments to coordinate all aspects of group travel and event production. Finally, you will liaise with other senior staff to develop the range of products and services to be marketed and to the development of sales strategies.

The Account Manager will have the following responsibilities:

Account management of M&E client accounts, ensuring the booking finalisation and rebooking of repeat groups:

-          Manage corporate M&E customer accounts, including the administrative and logistic aspects of group sales

-          Manage invoicing and payments in a timely manner, and communicate all invoices to the Finance Department

-          Address group requests with OSCAR to Revenue Management

-          Follow up and collate group feedback post-travel, and analyse customer experience to improve future products and services


Ensure Event Production is adhered to according to CM, M&E processes, and update CM tools:

-          Work to determine the goods and services to be sold in village, and assist in the development of sales strategies

-          Maintain accuracy of SalesForce and NA reporting

-          Liaising with global villages to ensure working within village capabilities and aligning with client expectations

-          Ensure the procedures are in place to maintain the ‘Portail de Production’ (memento, rooming list and group program) accurately

-          Maintain the administration of all procedures and processes in regards to Event Production

Oversee all aspects of trip management together with the client by managing administrative and logistical aspects of group organisation:

-          Organise client site inspections

-          Develop strategies in order to increase the ‘up sales’ revenue

-          Development and implementation of new product and services

-          Ensure all product information is accessible to clients

-          Advise resorts of the products and service to be deliver to the client

-          Depending on the complexity of the event, travel onsite to event manage the full event

-          Train and oversee 2 junior staff members in managing groups

Manage marketing events for M&E and Trade clients:

-          Research promotional activities and events for M&E and Trade

-          Book and manage promotional ‘FAM’ trips for Trade agents and M&E clients, including proposal, reservations, daily program, transport, and communicating the requirements with the resort

-          Coordinate and attend M&E client events and trade shows for the UK, Ireland and Nordics market

-          Manage online M&E marketing campaigns and M&E promotional activities

-          Analyse the ROI and produce recommendations concerning marketing and sales activities

The ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:

-          Degree Level Education (Bachelor Degree preferred in Management/Event Management)

-          Experience in event management and production of large scale international events

-          Experience in events and travel sales  with a strong customer service and client relationship development abilities

-          Experience working with Blue Chip and Fortune 500 companies

-          Knowledge of CM range of services and products, B2B and/or B2C sales conditions, M&E policy, MICE market in the UK, standard accounting

-          Ability to work with NA, Portail de Production, OSCAR, SalesForce, Word, Excel, Powerpoint

-          Strong command of English Language and proficient in French

-          Client oriented with strong organisational skills able to work in a multicultural environment

Experience of providing travel packages is highly desired (not but essential)
