We are looking for a highly-experienced Wordpress Developer to join our small but growing, fast-paced digital agency. 

Working closely with the project managers and creative leads you will be responsible for building and maintaining WordPress based sites for a number of new and existing clients. We also aim to your Full Stack skills by offering training in frontend technologies such React, Vue, Node etc.

We develop sites for brands, startups and established businesses looking to take their online presence to the next level. 

Having just moved into beautiful new offices just outside Reading we have recently undergone a modern refit including Table football, VR, and chillout areas in a lovely rural location. Senior Wordpress Developer Skills Required:

+ 3+ years previous agency experience with a strong portfolio of work
+ Experience working with WordPress and plugin development
+ Ability to build custom themes from scratch using ACF
+ WordPress speed optimisation techniques and best practices 
+ Custom WooCommerce development
+ Nginx and Apache configuration and management
+ Knowledge of RESTful API
+ Experience with LESS/SASS
+ Knowledge of relational database systems (MSSQL or MYSQL)
+ Experience with version control such as BitBucket or GitHub
+ Experience using modern development tools such as ACF, Tonic, Gulp/Webpack, Babel, Javascript es6, etc
+ Have an understanding and use of JSON/XML/REST/AJAX
+ Familiarity with Photoshop or Sketch

Beneficial / Bonus Points:

+ Experience using WordPress starter kits such as Sage, Bedrock & Tonic
+ Experience using Modern PHP MVC frameworks such as Laravel, Yii, Node.js
+ Good understanding of frontend technology stacks (ideally with React/Vue/Angular etc)
+ Previous experience building SAAS projects
+ Magento development experience
+ A good eye for UX design although you will be expected to work closely with a designer
