Digital Content Producer

Our client is the independent charity that looks after the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, the Banqueting House, Kew Palace and Hillsborough Castle.

Position: Digital Producer (Content Production)
Location: Hampton Court Palace
Job type: Full Time, 6 months Temporary Contract with a possible extension to 12 months
Hours: 36 hours per week
Salary: circa GBP38,500 per annum

About the role:

Each of the six buildings in their care has fascinating stories to tell - and your role will be to bring them to life digitally for their audiences. Based at Hampton Court Palace, with flexibility to work some days at the Tower of London, you'll work within the Public Engagement department and support the Content Production Team in creating high-quality digital content, products and experiences for a range of audience groups.

The work they do is varied and exciting. Typical projects may involve developing and producing engaging video and interactive content, writing and publishing web pages that tell the history and stories of the palaces, creating a podcast series, or managing content partnerships with organisations such as Google Arts and Culture, FutureLearn and children's content publishers.

About you:

To succeed in this role, you will have creative flair and excellent digital project management and content production skills. You will have the ability to evaluate briefs and translate objectives into clear, imaginative solutions that engage audiences on the most appropriate channels.

With strong editorial and writing skills you will be able to adapt your language style and tone for different audiences, including young people and children. Experience of supplier and partnership management, user-centred digital design and the production of digital assets are also important to them.

This role is ideal for a creative, well organised, collaborative digital professional, who enjoys creating content that inspires deeper digital engagement. An interest in history will also be an advantage.
