Intellectual Forum Administrator (part-time – Maternity cover)

We are currently seeking an exceptional administrator to work within our Intellectual Forum to create a world-class forum offering a programme of scholarly and creative activities, conferences, symposia, lectures and discussions in our purpose-built West Court. You will work closely with the Director and Deputy Director.

You will have strong administrative, communicative and IT skills and ideally have a proven track record of working in a similar organisational, academic or events coordination role. Most importantly, you will have the enthusiasm, interests and flexibility to work in a role that is evolving, and the confidence and skills to work successfully with a diverse range of people. 

This is a maternity cover appointment for 28 hours per week commencing in October 2019 and is anticipated to end in August 2020 (with the possibility of a short extension beyond that). We can be flexible on the working pattern although the role will require occasional evening and weekend working.

The salary for this position is commensurate with skills and experience and will be between £22,000 and £25,000 per annum pro-rata.  In addition we offer an excellent benefits package and the opportunity to work in an inspiring and historic city-centre location.
