An opportunity has arisen within the School of Music, Humanities and Media as we are now seeking for a highly skilled, experienced and enthusiastic individual to provide a comprehensive IT and AV support service to the School.

The School’s Technical Services Team provides a full comprehensive service to support the needs of teaching and research across all subject areas. It is well known for the quality of its high end facilities and technical specialism in supporting the various course curriculum needs and ensuring a first class customer service support environment.

The post will be supporting and maintaining all staff IT machines, PC computer labs and AV facilities across the School Buildings.

Given the diverse nature of this role and to ensure a first class customer service, you must possess high IT skills with professionalism, collegiate and customer-orientated approach to service delivery.  A good working knowledge of current Windows PC and Mac operating systems and applications with the ability to provide advice and support are essential requirements for this role.  You should also have experience of diagnosing and rectifying IT and AV hardware faults.

You should be qualified to Degree level in an IT related subject (in exceptional cases, a lesser qualification may be acceptable with substantial relevant experience in an IT support environment).
