Your Role 

As the Governance, Risk and Compliance Specialist, you will be tasked with maintaining a framework for the compliance of systems and processes to support all business functions including clinical operations. 

Working closely with the Risk, Governance and Compliance Lead, you will support our Quality Management Framework and a cycle of continuous improvement. Improvements will be identified via risk management processes, issue escalation and associated CAPAS, as well as feedback from internal and external audits and inspections. 

Your role will also involve: 

- Implementing and maintaining a compliant infrastructure, process and systems 
- Leading the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures, quality processes and procedures and guidelines 
- Maintaining your understanding of GCP, ICH and data protection regulations 
- Ensuring working practices are compliant and consistent with regulatory expectations and industry best practice 
- Implementing training for new processes and maintaining oversight of training across the business 
- Building and supporting a risk awareness and risk management culture 
- Managing the company audit program and leading audits as required 

About You 

To be considered as the Governance, Risk and Compliance Specialist, you will need: 

- Proven relevant quality management experience, ideally in a clinical background 
- An excellent understanding of ICH GCP and Data Protection Regulation 
- Robust knowledge of the delivery of complex activities around governance, compliance and risk management 
- The ability to articulate quality management and risk management concepts to all levels within the company 
- The proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while maintaining strict attention to detail 
- A working knowledge of MS office suite and the ability to generate business correspondence, create forms and generate reports 
- A degree-level qualification (or equivalent)
