We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Brand Manager to join the new Snacks Portfolio Growth Solutions team at PepsiCo!

The Portfolio Growth Solutions Team is pioneering an exciting entrepreneurial approach to testing and learning new offerings in both established and pioneering channels . As a result, we are on the lookout for a proven Senior Brand Manager or super talented Brand Manager, both comfortable with strategy and implementation, to join our growing team and deliver new opportunities within areas of must-win consumer focus.

As the Senior Brand Manager , you will leverage your skills to define and deliver opportunities across the PepsiCo snacks portfolio. Working in close collaboration with European Category Marketing colleagues, sales teams and our franchise business, you will be responsible for both delivering and managing the success of these products.

Here at PepsiCo, Marketing talent is fundamental to how we grow our business . For the role of Senior Brand Manager, your key accountabilities will be:
  • Lead our approach to seasons and events working cross functionally within the snacks sales, marketing and commercialisation teams, extending into our UK Beverages team and our UK bottler Britvic to shape PO1 activation, innovation and communication plans around key seasonal opportunities. You will be the voice of authority internally owning, developing and shaping this exciting agenda internally up to the senior teams in both businesses.
  • Work with the Insights team keep your finger on the pulse of the market, highlight portfolio expansion opportunities, research and test concepts to scale into market.
  • Partnering with the AFH channel sales and marketing teams to develop long term growth plans for the UK, implementing annual plans.
  • Analysing current consumer insights, demand spaces and channel requirements to understand gaps and opportunities for future growth.
  • Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to shape the broader team agenda, working on upstream opportunities, understanding where to play and how to win.
  • Manage selected incubator start-up projects, working with our future brands team to highlight opportunities in the UK to drive growth.
  • Liaise with creative and media partners and internal digital experts, ensuring that optimal channels are considered across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Budget and P&L responsibility.

Qualifications/Requirements Within this role, a good working knowledge of the UK trade, P&Ls and demonstrable leadership skills are also required: y our skills and experience will cover the following:
  • Passionate leadership skills which demonstrate and bring to life new and possibly slightly riskier opportunities
  • Strong consumer marketing experience from a leading or ground-breaking brand or a food and beverage start-up, with a good knowledge of the UK trade
  • Evidence of cross-functional working expertise across, R&D, Project management, Finance, Category Management etc
  • Strong evidence of taking projects from initiation, through development and into implementation.
  • Good eye for analysis of category and financial data to understand performance and identify robust growth opportunities
  • Comfortable collaborating with and leading cross functional groups, with a personable and effective style of taking people with you on the journey - up to senior stakeholder level
  • Influencing European Category Marketing to ensure UK consumer needs are incorporated in concept development
  • Resilient and resourceful in finding an innovative way to make sure project are delivered
  • Project management - ability to manage multiple projects in a fast moving and ever-changing environment with maturity and foresight to cope with input and changes, sometimes at the last minute.

  • Passion and keen eye to bring in new methods and thinking that complement PepsiCo processes
