The Opportunity
Their Manufacturing Engineering Team are currently recruiting a Process Engineer, who will be responsible for identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives that will promote best practice manufacturing solutions and eliminate waste, resulting in a robust and efficient manufacturing environment.
If your skills and passion are to create new processes and improve existing processes as well as assisting in eliminate waste, we want to hear from you and provide you with the opportunity to:
* Analyse current working methods and implement improvements to optimise efficiency, quality and design of the manufacturing processes using system tools.
* Create, implement, and monitor key performance indicators and metrics within the Manufacturing processes.
* Lead Continuous Improvement activities that will enhance manufacturing process performance, reliability and quality.
* Identify and eliminate waste and reduce throughput times throughout the production environment.
* Develop and implement systems that optimise all phases of production process.
* Where applicable, generate project plans for the operational aspect of a project, drive cross-functional groups to ensure tasks are managed to completion.
What We Look For
If, along with demonstrating the experience and knowledge to identify and drive process improvements, you have a hands on approach to understanding and solving Production process problems and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from individuals with:
* A Degree level qualification.
* Previous experience in a Process/Manufacturing Engineering function
* Knowledge of working with SAP or other MRP systems
* Knowledge of working with MES systems
* Experience in facilitating Kaizen events
* A good working knowledge of MS Office
* Knowledge of Six Sigma/Kaizen methodologies
* VSM knowledge and experience
