Working within a state-of-the art semi-automated factory, the purpose of this role is to organise, motivate, manage and develop the team members to achieve safety, quality and production targets whilst complying with Company procedures and cultural goals.

Key Accountabilities

* To organise the team to successfully deliver the Company's quality, safety and productivity KPIs.

* To manage the performance of the team members objectively in order that standards are maintained and employees are treated equitably and in line with Company policy.

* To create an environment that motivates each individual team member to enable them to perform at their best.

* To create development plans for team members and deliver training and coaching to facilitate individual growth.

* To manage absence, timekeeping and discipline to the defined Company standards and processes, treating all employees with respect and integrity.

* To deliver continuous improvement by initiating and running CITs.

* To proactively promote the Company's values in word and deed, acting as a role model to others.

* To pro-actively stop any unsafe practice when observed.

* To analyse team performance data against the KPIs and to develop and implement plans to address deficits.

* To communicate key departmental and company information to team members and to gain feedback to be delivered up the line.

* To ensure Company and statutory policies, procedures and standards are adhered to in order that the Company operates fairly, legally and consistently.

Essential Competencies Required:

* Good command of English language - written and spoken

* Demonstrated experience of effectively managing and motivating teams

* Demonstrated ability to make decisions under pressure

* Demonstrated ability to identify potential health and safety issues and take appropriate action

* Ability to identify training needs and put plans in place to upskill individuals

* Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate production requirements

* Ability to accept and drive change through a positive approach

* Flexible communication skills

Desirable Competencies (Not essential but advantageous):

* An understanding of a manufacturing operation including stores.

* Good knowledge Sage Line 1000 or other ERP system, and Power BI.

Experience Required:

Minimum of 1 years' experience in a manufacturing environment or similar
