Chef de Partie/Sous Chef


GBP23,000 - GBP26,000 (25-40 hours per week)

I'm currently working with a fantastic 5* Golf Club, boasting an inland Championship 18-hole Links course and stunning views. Currently the club offer multiple menus to accommodate all customers, with a high demand of parties/functions and weddings, 2 private function rooms can accommodate between 50 - 300 guests. The menu selection ranges from; Themed Canapes, Sunday Lunch menu, Sit down menu, Finger buffet, Afternoon Tea and A La Carte.

They're currently looking for a Chef de Partie/Sous Chef level to join the team and hit the ground running. At least 1 year in either a Chef de Partie, Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef position is desirable with qualifications to match. The kitchen will consist of a team of around 9 members all working in different sections with each chef having diversity with their culinary skills. The Kitchen itself opens 11:00am - 18:00pm on weekdays and open later weekends to accommodate the events.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus
Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
