Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Mental Health Support Worker who will be based within a school in Wirral. You will be working on a 1:1 basis with a 14 year old male.
The school is located close to a train station which have excellent links from Liverpool City Centre plus areas of the Wirral are easily accessible by car, bus and train. Alternatively there is also has parking on site.
The school provides an education for children who are no longer in mainstream education and are quite often within the care system. Therefore, associated social and emotional issues can result in a wide range challenging behaviours.
We look for:
*Experience working with young children in a coaching or academic capacity
*Previous experience with challenging behaviours
*Calm but positive personality
*Level headed
*Skills to empower young people to make them believe they can achieve
*Excellent listening skills
*Maths and English GCSE as a minimum, TA qualification or hold a degree
