Pure Staff are currently have a vacancy for a Business Development Manager to work for a British media company covering the Solihull area.
The core responsibilities of this role will be to:
Develop an expert knowledge of the business within the assigned territory, and work on contact leads provided whilst developing a local contact list to grow the territory account base;
Maintain and grow existing clients and ensure a clear growth plan is in place to grow revenues each quarter;
Achieve the weekly face to face meetings and prebook meeting KPIs, ensuring all activity is recorded in Salesforce;
Ensure that activity enables the creation of opportunities each week, and that these are at your recommended pacing level (monthly revenue target);
Grow an expertise in understanding the company's full product base and how they can help clients achieve their campaign objectives.The ideal candidate for this role will have:
Experience in selling to small and medium businesses;
Good understanding of the pattern of a sale, from opening to close;
Excellent listening skills;
The ability to build a brief for the campaign support team;
Strong relationship skills both with internal and external clients;
Competency in planning systems and skills to build effective campaigns;
Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM;
Excellent diary and time management.This will be a fulltime role with a laptop, phone car and company car provided, working Monday to Friday with a starting salary of up to GBP27k depending on experience.
