Carpenter/Cabinet Maker role on offer with a family-run producing materials for a range of bespoke crafted machinery.

Do you have experience of crafting woodwork and Carpentry? Do you want to join a company that pride themselves on developing specialist trade skills?

The company make custom-built products for a range of sectors including medical, sports, broadcasting and the defence sector. Due to a sustained period of success, they are expanding and as a result of this require a Carpenter/Cabinet Maker to help them with recently tendered projects.

In this position you will be manufacturing bespoke furniture using a variety of materials, ranging from Hard/Soft woods to Plastics. You will receive on the job training and experience whilst working with a team of highly qualified tradesmen. The company have an excellent reputation f and good employee retention to aid development and longevity within the company

The ideal person will have experience of Carpentry manufacturing, be competent with dealing with a wide range of different materials and be looking to join a company where you enhance your skills through ongoing training.

The Role:

*Carpenter/Cabinet Maker
*Reading of Engineering Drawings
*Self-inspection of components
*Working at height
*Working in-line with health and safety standards
*GBP11.55 - GBP12.48 p/h (GBP24,000 - GBP26,000) + Training + Progression + Pension

The Person:

*Previous Carpentry experience
*The ability to read engineering drawings
*Experience of working with varied materials, including soft/hard wood
*Lives local to Colchester or willing to relocate to the area
