A new and exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our clients based in Gateshead, Team Valley. We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Ledger to join a busy, fast paced finance department. You will be working as part of a small team therefore an adaptable attitude and strong communication skills are essential.
The role includes;
* Processing weekly and monthly invoices
* Assisting with credit control when required
* Sales ledger reconciliation
* Dealing with sales ledger queries
* Use of SAGE daily
* Preparing and posting sales ledger journals where necessary.
* Reconciling Group control accounts and assisting with month end routines as required.
Required skills & experience;
* At least 2 years' experience in financial accounts dealing with high-volume sales ledger
* Good standard of computer literacy
* Communication skills
* Strong administration skills
* Keen eye to detail
* An organized approach
* Good knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft word, excel and outlook
* Understanding of SAGE
* Experience with in a demanding, fast paced environment
