Do you have a passion for HR? Are you looking for a new challenge working for a leading manufacturing firm based in the Droitwich area? If so I have a great opportunity.

I am currently assisting a large manufacturing organisation based in the Droitwich area look for an experienced HR Officer to join them on a permanent basis. This role will assist the HR department in providing an efficient and effective HR service to all areas of the business.

The main responsibilities of the HR Officer are as follows:

Support the direct and indirect recruitment process.
Issue contracts of employment
Update and maintain all personnel records and computerised systems including personnel and time and attendance systems and ensure that information held is correct.
Ensure information is passed to payroll in a timely manner.
Document and analyse information on staff absences and headcount and produce weekly and monthly management information.
Update and ensure that colleagues are correctly positioned on the headcount and ensure that they are correctly costed.
Co-ordinate labour and ensure that invoices and timesheets are processed and signed.
Ensure that any changes to terms and conditions of employment are correctly documented.
Support and direct managers with help and advice
Provide advice on disciplinary matters and issues of employment law and ensure that the necessary information is available and filed in line with procedures. Assist in disciplinary issues where required and ensure there is consistency across the whole site.
Deal with maternity/paternity and parental leave.
Administration related to internal and external requirements.
Dealing with flights/travel, lunch orders and taxi bookings.
Dealing with occupational health.
Manage and maintain the induction process.
Raising purchase orders where necessary.As a HR Officer you will have the following skills and experience:

Proven HR experience
A knowledge of computerised systems, in particular Windows-based and Excel packages.
Part qualified CIPD or working towards CIPD
Good level of education with qualifications in maths and English
Experience within manufacturing would be beneficial but is not essential.As a HR Officer for this organisation you will receive a salary of GBP21k- GBP23k and the hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm.
