Our client have an exciting opportunity for a Food & Beverage Manager to join their growing team in The Lake District.

Job Title: Food & Beverage Manager - Hospitality

Location: The Lake District

Salary: Up to GBP35,000 per annum, dependent upon experience + excellent benefits package

Food & Beverage Manager - Hospitality - The Client:

Recently renovated and reopened under new management, our client is offering exceptional quality and luxury with a relaxed yet professional space, throughout the establishment.

Taking inspiration from their hugely successful and ahead-of-trend sister hotel, our client has gone from strength to strength and now attracts clients from all walks of life. Since opening their doors 2 years ago, the hotel has been a hit with families, groups, couples, dog lovers and adventure seekers, with occupancy rate not dropping below 92%.

Food & Beverage Manager - Hospitality - The Role:

With new plans approved to expand the hotel and add an additional food and drink unit, the hotel is now in need of a forward-thinking and dynamic manager to help with the development and implementation of this new concept.

As the Food & Beverage Manager, you will have a strong presence and will be visible to both employees and customers. The hotel currently has 2 restaurants, which you will oversee to ensure the smooth and successful running of the operation.

Food & Beverage Manager - Hospitality - Experience Required:

- 3 years in a senior management position within an independent hotel or restaurant.

- Previous experience of managing a large team.

- Knowledge of HR procedures.

- A good understanding of customer care and complaint handling.

- A proven track record of consistently achieving financial targets.

- A WSET qualification or equivalent.

- Experience of running events including weddings and private dining.

- Barista experience.

Food & Beverage Manager - Hospitality - Responsibilities:

- Management of all drinks lists, including wine, within brand and financial parameters.

- Work with the GM/head chef to continually improve all aspects of food and beverage service.

- Take responsibility for food and beverage at functions and events.

- Oversee the training and development of the F&B team, both scheduled and on the job.

- Ensure that the team have excellent product knowledge.

The hotel encourages a collaborative working culture and although you will be given the autonomy to take the lead on all F&B areas, you will have the full support of the General Manager.

It is the only establishment of its kind in the area and is continuing to evolve. It therefore needs a professional who welcomes change, is able to think outside of the box and wants to grow with and be part of a unique business.

You will currently be a F&B Manager, Assistant F&B Manager, Deputy Manager, General Manager, Hotel Manager, or Restaurant Manager working within a hotel or restaurant.
