My client manages a well established and highly reputable company, manufacturing high quality insulated glass products. Due to continual growth they are looking to employ a permanent and full time Production/Warehouse operative to join their Night shift team asap. Ideally you will have glass production experience however training will be offered to strong candidates with production skills in other industries.
The main responsibilities for the Manufacturing Operative are -
- Manual Warehouse (Lifting, Shifting and loading Lorries).
- All aspects of production (from cleaning to assembling glazed units).
- Quality checking own work to ensure products are produced to highest standard.
- Operating machines safely - machines include Glass Arriser, Glass toughening Furnace and glass washer.
- Maintaining and clean and safe working environment.
The ideal Manufacturing Operative will have -
- Warehouse Experience.
- Production experience.
- Experience within Glass production environment is preferred but not essential.
- A can do attitude and work well within a team.
- A willingness to learn and a want to grow within a company.
The hours of work are Sunday to Thursday 21.15pm to 06.00am and in return you will be paid GBP10.75ph, 28 days holiday (Including BH) and a workplace pension.
