This is a challenging and hands on role working closely with the Finance Director and wider leadership team.

This role has overall responsibility for the accounting, payroll and business partnering functions within the EMEA finance team. Acting as a business partner to stakeholders across the business, the Financial Controller will drive value through 'best in class' decision support, reporting and insights, whilst safeguarding assets through strong internal controls.

This is a leadership role with a team to support, mentor and develop and supporting the business through the month-end close cycle, year-end and external audit, budgeting & reforecasting and business planning.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Overall responsibility for the management and financial accounting function, including production of monthly packs, through to balance sheet reconciliations
Ensuring timely and accurate completion of all statutory, regulatory and external-led requirements
Management of treasury functions and cash-flow forecasting within EMEA
Leading the wider-business through budgeting, reforecasting and business-planning cycle
On-going reviews of processes and internal controls
Due-diligence and analysis of M&A activity, plus lead on post-acquisition integrations
Line management responsibility for Head of Management Accounts, Financial Accountant, Payroll Manager, Transactions Services Manager & Finance Business PartnerThe successful candidate will be qualified (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with a minimum of 5years post-qualification, and minimum 2years in a management role. Ideally you will have technical knowledge including UK GAAP and US GAAP and have advanced excel skills.

This role requires an assertive and proactive manager but also with a considered approach to maintain and develop relationships throughout the business
