Main Purpose of Job

Working as part of the busy Neighbourhood Team, you will provide the first point of contact for our residents on a wide range of housing management issues. You will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive a professional service at all times. You will also be responsible for providing administrative support to the Neighbourhood team and manage a small patch of properties.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide efficient administration support to London Neighbourhood Team

* Respond to customer queries by telephone, written communication and face to face within set timescales, ensuring all contact is accurately recorded

* Manage a small patch of general needs properties with assistance from the Senior Neighbourhood Officer

* Ensure all cases of ASB are accurately recorded and adhere to both Good Practice and the Respect Standard in terms of service delivery

* Act in a professional manner at all times.

* Help to deliver the tenancy vision and excellence programme.

* Implement best practice to ensure continuous improvement

* Develop effective and sustainable partnerships with the borough and key stakeholders and represent Swan at external meetings as appropriate.

* Ensure financial regulations are adhered to.

* Attend Resident meetings and other meetings as necessary to ensure residents views are fully integrated into the service.

* Positively comply with Association policies, procedures and systems ensuring compliance with the needs of legal, regulatory and statutory bodies as well as with best practice principles

* Any other duties as assigned and deemed commensurate with the grade and overall responsibility of the post.

Our Client : This Housing Association provides high-quality and affordable homes to rent and buy.locally manage over 11,000 homes, with with a secured development pipeline of 6,500 homes and an ambitious corporate strategy which aims to deliver an additional 10,000 homes by 2027.

This would suit a Customer Service Officer with previous Experience of working in a customer focused role.The Customer Service officer will be Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent.the succesful candiate will have :

Good IT skills- using a number of MS Office packages

Good communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to work with people who are under stress and help them with problem solving

Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines

Ability to work on own and to visit properties.
