Engineering/Maintenance Manager - Stoke on Trent/Newcastle-Under-Lyme - DAYS - GBP45,000 - GBP50,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a leading manufacturing company who are now looking for an Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities
As the Engineering Manager, you will have full engineering and maintenance responsibility for the site whilst being heavily involved in projects, leading change and managing a team of supervisors and engineers.
Key duties of the role will involve
Plan, coordinate and manage all engineering and maintenance activities on site
Oversee maintenance and construction schedules, including plant preventative maintenance schedules
Involvement in project work
Maintenance Planning
Managing contractors on site
Planning of plant shuts downs
Responsible for maintenance costs and budget Essential requirements for the role
Degree or HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Knowledge of both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
Experience of managing a team
Strong leader and manager
Experience of managing maintenance costs and budgets
Continuous Improvement/5S
Knowledge of CMMS systems
CAPEX experience
Experienced in PPM schedules
Experience of working in a Heavy Manufacturing environment
IOSH or NEBOSH qualifiedBenefits
