As their Fire and Lifting Compliance Manager, you'll coordinate the day to day management and delivery of Fire / Lifting Equipment, contracts and Group compliance activities.
Effectively managing the delivery of fire safety & lifting equipment management, you will manage compliance testing, contractual relationships with service providers and assist with independent external auditors. If you don't already have, you will be willing to gain a broader knowledge to allow you to actively manage and control a broader suite of statutory compliance activities such as gas compliance, asbestos management, water hygiene (ACoPL8).
Being an experienced Compliance Manager, you will have previous experience of managing servicing and repairs in regard to Fire safety & lifting equipment. With a detailed knowledge of LOLER & PUWER Regulations and ACOP L8 - Legionnaires' disease (legionella bacteria in water systems), you will have experience of implementing and managing control policies, procedures and process to conform to regulations. Further to this you will hold an IOSH Managing Safely qualification and a Nebosh General certificate (Fire) in H&S at work
