We are working with Local Authorities in London and the South of England to appoint interim Special Educational Needs Tribunals specialists for immediate starts. Reporting to the Head of SEND, you will be responsible for representing the Local Authority in court appeals as part of the Special Educational Needs Tribunals Process. You will also be responsible for the dispute resolution, mediation and all the additional legal compliance surrounding the appeals process.
To be successful in this role, you will need up to date statutory knowledge of the SEN Codes of Practice and the Children and Families Act. You must have worked within a legal capacity, and attended local authority court hearings.
In return, you will be paid a competitive daily rate, and play an important role in the delivery of essential statutory services; helping secure the best possible outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs.
