We are working with a number of authorities in London and the South East to appoint SEN team Managers on an interim basis. Reporting to the Service Manager, or Head of SEN, you will be responsible for the day to day operational delivery of the SEND team. You will play a part in the full statutory process, including panel, multi-agency meetings, and be heavily involved in the quality assurance of the Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP), ensuring the authority is delivering the statutory requirements at the highest possible level.
To be considered for this role, you must have Senior EHCP Coordinator experience, or similar, with time spent in a supervisory or managerial capacity. It is essential that you have delivered to key stakeholders, such as Directors of Children's Services, working to set deadlines, using your extensive knowledge of the Children and Families Act, and SEN Codes of Practice.
In return, on top of the competitive weekly pay, you will be an instrumental part of the improvement of a service; a service that prides itself on improving the lives of children and young people in the local area.
